PCUSA Advisory Referendum

Below is a sample of the kinds of questions which might be answered differently by the members, than by the General Assembly.  Here is a suggested questionnaire that can be used in order to REFORM PCUSA in accordance with the intentions of our congregations.  Please notice that most of the below questions would not be part of church policy if PCUSA had not been influenced by secular political activists.

What present church policies would fail to be supported by the majority of the membership?  (Essay question)

How would these issues be decided upon by the membership?  (Essay question)

Do you think Holy Scripture should take precedence over secular issues  in determining church policy?

Should PCUSA avoid divisive secular issues like gender politics and international conflict, and focus on ministering to individuals while advancing the Kingdom?

Do you support the ordination of homosexual clergy in PCUSA?

If a baby is born alive, after surviving an abortion attempt, should that baby be kept alive?

Do you agree with PCUSA power to confiscate the physical church buildings and property which you and your fellow members paid for and built?

Should the physical church building and property be returned to the total control of individual congregations?

It is the responsibility of the well-informed membership to make known our wishes for REFORM. There is still time to reverse the damage that has been done because of our failure to act. With our prayerful input and support our leadership can adopt  policies which will be instrumental in reforming  a strong and inspiring denomination.
